After a very successful “Bringing back the Showbands” Concert in the Duagh Sport & Leisure Complex on the 31st August last, the Committee were delighted to present a cheque to the Kerry/Cork Health Link Bus in memory of the late Fr.Pat Moore who was a director of the Sports Complex. A sum of €1100 was presented to representatives of the charity Breda Dyland & Trish Kelly on Friday evening last in the centre.

“On behalf of the Committee I wish to thank all those who made the concert such an incredible success. Thanks to all the people who came from West Limerick and North Kerry as well as the locals and made the night so enjoyable. Your support was very much appreciated”, Chairperson Anne Scanlon said. Thanks to the performers who made the night such a success and as a result of this venture we will make this an annual event and continue our partnership with the Kerry Cancer Support Group and in doing so keep the spirit of Fr Pat alive in the hearts of all the people of Duagh/Lyreacrompane & surrounding parishes.
