The Inaugural Tarbert Run – April 29th

Want to run? Of course you do! Travel to Tarbert to take part in the inaugural Tarbert Run on Sunday April 29th. In what promises to be a scenic route by Tarbert Bay, a well-co-ordinated event, with top class facilities at the starting/ finishing point of Tarbert Comprehensive School. Don’t miss out on your chance to take part in a variety of race events.

The race choice includes a Ten Mile Run that begins at 10am, a 10 Kilometre Run that begins at 10.30am and a 5 Kilometre Run that begins at 10.45am. There is something for everybody. The whole family can take part, whether walking with your friends, family or neighbours or strolling with toddlers and buggies!

For all those fantastic committed and hard-working runners out there, this race is chip timed, accurately measured as a course, with excellent changing room and shower
facilities and safe car parking. Adequate and suitable refreshments will be provided.
There will be prizes for the first three male competitors and the first three female
competitors over the line in both the 10 Mile and 10 Kilometre Races. The 5 Kilometre route is a very flat and fast course, so big PB’s (Personal Bests) are expected on this route. Team prizes also apply for the first race off, the 10 Mile. Teams can be formed on the morning of the race at the venue.

Proceeds from The Tarbert Run will go to the support of Kerry Cancer Support Group and The Health Link Bus which it operates. So, what are you waiting for?
