A frosty start didn’t deter the business people of North Kerry from getting out to attend the final Listowel Business & Community Alliance Breakfast Briefing of 2019. A collaboration with HQ Kerry this briefing had a different vibe, the location was at HQ Kerry to showcase the location of the Listowel Business & Community Alliance office which is situated within the building on the first floor. Equally HQ Kerry were keen to mark the first anniversary of opening in Listowel.

Rather than the usual one speaker format the event had a fantastic line-up of some of the County’s most inspiring women including: CEO of Kerry County Council Moira Murrell, CEO of Techfindr (an international Tech Recruitment company with offices worldwide that has its base in Listowel) – Dina Vyapuri, Chairperson of the Kerry Business Womens Network – Elin Sorensen and Connect Kerry Founder Margaret Kissane.

Each gave their own impressive presentation on their businesses and their story’s while Moira Murrell recognized the importance of hubs such as HQ Kerry providing a base for sustainable employment going into the future making Kerry a strong location to do business. Both Dina and Elin spoke about their own experiences of relocating to Kerry, the integration process and building successful businesses on their own. And Margaret spoke as not only a business woman but also a member of the HQ Community and talked through the benefits to her business since moving in to HQ Tralee earlier this year.
The next Success Breakfast is being planned for Spring 2020, follow HQ Kerry and Listowel Business & Community Alliance social media to stay updated.
