Listowel Writers’ Week pulled it out of the bag! The hard working
committee are delighted after 47 years to receive this recognition.
Receiving the award in The Crowne Plaza Hotel at Dublin Airport were Festival Chairperson Liz Dunn and Festival Manager Eilish Wren.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairperson Liz Dunn said “I was genuinely thrilled to accept this award on behalf of the Listowel Writers’ Week team who so very much deserve recognition for their outstanding commitment to the Festival. The list of nominees was so impressive that we were content just to be listed with them. To be bringing home the award to lovely Listowel is an honour and we are looking forward to sharing it with our amazing team without whom the winning of this accolade would not have been possible.”
