Kerry Senior Team
Kerry 2-18 -v- Donegal 3-14: The opening game of the Allianz Football League got under way on Sunday last in Fitzgerald Stadium were Kerry took on Donegal. The Kerry first fifteen seen many young players being tired out at the early stages of the National League, who seemed to start the game looking comfortable on the ball and playing a fast moving game of football. But with Kerry having a one man advantage for most of the game it was Donegal who played the better second half football exposing the Kerry Backs and bring the game down to the wire, only for sub Daithi Casey Dr Crokes kicking the winning point in the last minute of football to give Kerry a win and 2 points on the table. From the North Kerry Football District on the Kerry team were Shane Enright Tarbert corner back and Jason Foley Ballydonoghue full back, on the subs bench Brain O Seanachain Ballydonoghue. Round 2 of the Allianz National League see’s Kerry travel away to Mayo on Saturday 3rd February.
Scor Sinsear
The county finals of Scor Sinsear will take place on sat 24th of February in Castleisland starting with the quiz at 4pm followed by all other competitors at 6 pm. Any club interested in taking part can you please contact board Scor officer PJ Mulvihill on 086-7886301 before Monday 12th of February.
Scor na bPaisti: The North Kerry finals of Scor na bPaisti will take place on Sun 25th of March time and venue TBC
Coaching Course
Kerry Coaching & Games are running a one day Foundation Level Coaching Course.
This course is aimed at Coaches involved with teams from Under 6 to 12 and the content of the course will focus on the developing players at this age group. The course will take place on Saturday March 3rd 2018 in St Michael’s College Listowel starting 10am. The tutor for the course will be Daniel O’ Donoghue.
