North Kerry Football Board Delegate Meeting
The May Meeting of the North Kerry Football Board will take place on Tuesday 23rd May at 8.30pm in Christys, The Well Listowel. This meeting will be for the purpose of reviewing competition formats, all proposals for League and Championship Formats must be submitted before Friday 19th May at 12 noon by email to myself on osullivan_mairead@yahoo.com. Can all clubs have a delegate in attendance.
County Senior Football Championship
First round of the County Senior Football Championship was a mixed bag for the North Kerry District teams and our players Shannon Rangers bow out with a very under strength team against St Brendan’s in the preliminary round, Feale Rangers had a hard fought win over West Kerry on a scoreline of Feale Rangers 1.13 v West Kerry 0.12 and our players who are playing with St Kierans have to do it all again after a battle royale with Austin Stacks. This will take place on Saturday 20th May in Scartaglin at 6.30pm. Feale Rangers face Rathmore in Rathmore on Saturday 20th May at 6.30pm in Rd 2 also. The North Kerry Football Board send our best wishes to all our players involved with their District Teams.

Kerry became the first winners of the special Munster Under 17 football competition following a deserved
victory over Cork before a fine attendance of 1,631 at Tralee’s Austin Stack Park this week on a scoreline of Kerry 0-15 Cork 0-10. From the district were Sean Keane (Listowel Emmets), Luka Brosnan and David Shanahan (Castleisland Desmonds)
