Students of Presentation Secondary School, Listowel received a very warm welcome in Dáil Éireann on Thursday, 12th of May. The group of 28 students representing the Presentation’s Student Council were delighted to meet Taoiseach, Micheál Martin, during their tour of the Oireachtas in Dublin. Taoiseach Martin encouraged the students to continue in the proud Listowel tradition of writing. In the Seanad, they were welcomed during the meeting in session by Seanad  Cathaoirleach, Senator Mark Daly. The Student Council made the trip to Dublin on the invitation of former Minister Jimmy Deenihan who recently gave the students a talk on the importance of Governance and Leadership. Organizing teachers Ms Anne Brosnan and Ms Jenni Molyneaux hoped the trip would encourage the Student Council members in their roles, and furthermore prepare them for Leadership in their future careers.
