St. Joseph’s Receive Silver Junk Kouture Ticket

St Josephs secondary School were delighted to be presented with a Silver Ticket Award from Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture.The silver ticket allows student to automatically go through to the Regional Final in the University Concert Hall Limerick on March 8th. Only one team are selected per county to be awarded a Silver Ticket and the chosen team ‘Winter Wonderer’ were delighted, including, Ciara Finnerty, Aoibhe Joy, Sophia Hegarty and model Rebecca O Suillivan.

Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture is an all island competition for secondary school students, which takes elements such as fashion, design, engineering and environmental sustainability and transforms them into a creative contest like no other.

The school under the guidance of their art teacher, Ms Donovan and Marie Rohan worked with Transition Year students to produce 5 Outfits for the competition this year and are very proud of all the entries.
