The Coastal Atlas of Ireland

421

By Robert DeVoy

The Coastal Atlas of Ireland looks at the coastline of the entire island of Ireland as a whole, from the physical, human and environmental perspectives. It contributes towards the dissemination and outreach of scientific knowledge about the coasts of Ireland and of the processes that are shaping them, to the broader public, government and decision makers.

The Coastal Atlas of Ireland is a celebration of Ireland’s coastal and marine spaces. Drawing on written contributions from over 100 authors from across the island of Ireland and beyond, the Atlas takes an explicitly all-island approach; though the work has a much wider relevance and potential reader interest.
