Aontú General Election Candidate Catherina O’Sullivan (pictured) will host a meeting at the Rose Hotel, Tralee, at 8pm tomorrow Friday 22nd November, which will feature teacher Mary Creedon who raised concerns at the content of the new SPHE curriculum.
Catherina O’Sullivan stated,
“Mary Creedon was one of a number of SPHE teachers who had joined parents and TDs in calling on Minister for Education, Norma Foley, to “shut down” or “completely review” the current SPHE curriculum, which they say now has the potential to be “hugely harmful” in relation to explicit and inappropriate lessons on sex, pornography, and gender identity. This will be an opportunity for parents and the community to listen to Mary’s concerns and voice their own views on these matters. All welcome.”
