Presentation Secondary School, Listowel, is delighted to announce that we have secured the National Winner in the Our Fundraiser National competition for Schools. This is a wonderful achievement for our school community, and we extend our sincere thanks to all who continue to support our weekly school lotto. We are delighted with the support shown for our school fundraiser to date. This support has helped fund the replacement and upgrading of school resources and we have more exciting projects planned for 2026. Since our launch we have had over a hundred weekly winners, a €2,900 jackpot winner and in December, Norma Healy won the top prize in the Our Fundraiser national competition – a fantastic Disneyland Paris €5,000 holiday. A big congratulations to Norma!
Norma is a proud past pupil of Presentation Secondary School. She went on to study International Marketing and Languages at Dublin City University (DCU) and has enjoyed a rich and varied career both in Ireland and abroad. Her professional journey has brought her through many global settings, and she is widely admired for her leadership, innovation, and commitment to lifelong learning. In recent years, Norma has served in a leadership role with Microsoft, where she has continued to champion opportunities for young people in education. As part of this support, she generously facilitated a memorable school visit to DreamSpace, Microsoft’s immersive STEM experience designed to inspire creativity and problemsolving. Our students were deeply appreciative of this unique opportunity, which sparked enormous curiosity and excitement about the world of technology and innovation. In fact, Presentation Listowel is delighted to have 3 entries in this year’s Stripe Young Scientist Competition in the RDS, Dublin.
Norma has always remained a dedicated supporter of Presentation Secondary School. She follows the school’s achievements closely and is passionate about giving back to the community that helped shape her path. Her ongoing connection with our school is a source of great pride for all of us. We congratulate her warmly on this national win and thank her for her continued support of Presentation. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member of our wider community who participates in the school lotto. Your contributions make a significant difference in the daily lives of our students.
Our current school jackpot is €3,000 and Our Fundraiser are having another national competition on 29th January 2026 with three exciting prizes – an Ultimate Unwind Getaway @Wineport Lodge (value €1,500), a Dyson Spot & Scrub AI Robot Vac and an Emerald Park Annual Membership (Family of 5).
