Ballyduff youngsters realise the dream of playing at Croke Park

67

On Tuesday July 29th a group of enthusiastic U12 footballers from Ballyduff had the unforgettable opportunity to play on the hallowed turf of Croke Park, the most iconic stadium in the GAA. The children were buzzing with excitement as they arrived at the stadium, and their energy was matched by their performance on the pitch.

They played brilliant football throughout, showing great skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship on such a prestigious stage. It was truly inspiring to see them rise to the occasion and enjoy every moment of the experience.

Beyond their performances on the field, the children represented their club and community with pride. They were extremely well behaved all day, respectful to staff and supportive of one another throughout the trip.
Overall, it was an amazing day that will live long in the memories of everyone involved. A huge thank you to all the organisers, and parents who helped make the day possible.

We appreciate the support from:
Ballyduff GAA, The Ball Wall Committee, Tom & Deirdre Brosnan from Tadgh Brosnan and Sons, Berth & Rosie Sheehy from Energywise for covering the cost of the bus to Dublin. Also thank you to Liam Ross for providing water and fruit for the bus journey to Dublin.
