This show is a medley of show stopping musical numbers which will be performed by students from Causeway Comprehensive school for a limited number of nights from Thursday the 24th to Friday the 25th of November. Speaking ahead of the show, music teacher Denise Fitzgerald said, “This is our first production since Grease in 2018. Our students are excited to get the opportunity again to entertain the audiences on both nights”. Fiona Leahy the assistant director added “We are delighted to be under the talented guidance of Oliver Hurley of Oliver Hurley School of Performing Arts. He is busy getting our students ready to take to the stage to perform a vibrant mix of songs and acts from well-known musicals such as Grease, Wicked, Les Miserables and many more renowned musicals”.
The school is putting on two shows this Thursday and Friday night at 7pm, with a matinee show for our local primary schools on Thursday morning. Principal Cathal Fitzgerald of Causeway Comprehensive school stated that we are really looking forward to the shows productions and I can say safely say from watching their practices and listening to Oliver, the teachers involved and especially the students, it is a show you will not want to miss.
Causeway Comprehensive’s production of Showstoppers will take place in Ballyheigue Community Centre on Thursday November 24th and Friday November 25th 2022.
