Clanmaurice Camogie Team have second bite at The AIB All Ireland Junior Club Final

Last Sunday, in Crettyyard GAA Grounds, Clanmaurice took on Kilmessan of Meath. The conditions were not ideal and the scoring was hard to come by. Clanmaurice did get off to a better start and had a very good first half with Kilmessan taking time to settle. Clanmaurice were truly and well up for this one.
Second saw game level a few times, so you could see this was going to go to the wire. Some may have said a goal on either side might have come away with victory. Unfortunately, this was not the case as both teams got goals in the final minutes with Clanmaurice raising a green flag in normal time. Injury time saw Kilmessan shake the net with a well taken goal. The referee blew the full time whistle which saw the final score 1-04 a piece and another day out on the cards.

Replay is confirmed for Sunday 3rd December in Silvermines Gaa, Dolla, Co Tipperary throw in time of 1.15pm. Please do come along and support the girls in the quest for All Ireland Glory.
