istory was made in Listowel last weekend with the first ever ‘Classic Cars n Coffee’ event in Listowel.

Kingdom Vintage Veteran and Classic Car Club held a ‘Cars n Coffee’ event at the weekend, one of many the club has had in Kerry over the last 10 years. In fact the club averages 8 of these events per annum.

This event, which was organised by Club member William Stack and his son and fellow petrol head Noel Stack. The Club itself has had a number of firsts including the 1st Vintage Car Club in Kerry and first to hold a Cars n Coffee Event.

The day started at 10 am with a Cars n Coffee meet at the Greenway Carpark in Listowel town on a showery Sunday morning. Tea, Coffee and cakes were on offer on the day by Brew & Banter.  William and Noel Stack decided to add on a trip along the new by pass road on to Ballybunion, and via the Wild Atlantic Way to Asdee, Ballylongford and return to Listowel Greenway to regroup before returning home.

The event also had a collection for Ballybunion Sea Rescue on the day and many stayed in Listowel for Lunch. The committee were delighted with the day and are very much looking forward to next club event.
