Duagh Sports and Leisure Complex are delighted to announce that they are holding a Festival Weekend of fantastic entertainment on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th of May. It will all start on the Friday night with the world renowned Rebecca O Connor in the Tina Turner tribute.

The words of TINA TURNER herself says it all. “Rebecca is so good, it’s scary”…

This show is perfectly summed up by living legend Mick Fleetwood of Fleetwood Mac, when he said after seeing the show, “Rebecca is way beyond a tribute act… she is an amazing singer and performer in her own right, I was mesmerised… a night you’ll never forget.”

Irelands own International success story, Rebecca O’Connor, is the only artist in the world personally endorsed by Tina herself, and is returning to her homeland again in 2024 due to overwhelming demand following her sold out 2023 tour. Rebecca is excited to bring a “Next Level” of excitement to her shows following the recent passing of Tina. With sold out shows throughout Ireland, UK, Australia, South Africa and Europe over the past 12 years, Rebecca just loves to perform and can’t wait to bring her new and exciting show to audiences around the world along with her amazing band and dancers. She is the only Irish artist to ever win the prestigious European TV competition “Stars in Their Eyes” hosted by Matthew Kelly, in front of over 33 Million viewers. Rebecca brought her perfect rendition of Tina Turner to life as she wowed the audience and has continued doing that, all over the world to packed houses ever since.
Be prepared to stand in your seats as Rebecca delivers her flawless rendition of Tina Turner’s greatest hits including, Nutbush City Limits, Proud Mary, River Deep, Private Dancer, When the Heartache Is Over, Better Be Good To Me, and of course her anthem, Simply the Best.
This will be followed on the Saturday night 25th where we will have on stage the new rising star and country sensation Jack Keogh from 7.30 followed by TheKilkennys from 10 to 12.

Our spacious hall is ideal for these events and it will be transformed into a fantastic venue to give a brilliant atmosphere on each night. For everyone that has frequented the venue for previous music events and someone thinking about coming for the first time it will be both seated with of course plenty room for dancing too.

In addition to these nights we are delighted to provide the venue as a fundraiser for Tralee Palliative Care on the Sunday with a Fashion event organised by Esther’s Boutique Abbeyfeale. The centre is ran by a group of volunteers who give of their time generously to make it a success & when it all started over 10 years ago driven by our parish priest of that time the late Fr Pat Moore R.I.P. We made a promise to all, that the centre would be for all the people so this weekend event provides an opportunity for all ages to enjoy this fantastic amenity on our doorsteps.
Tickets available at Esther’s Boutique, An Siopa Milsean and Kathleen’s Food store in Abbeyfeale, Watson’s Londis, O’Brien’s Bar, Jim’s Bar, Duagh, Goulds Shop Kilmorna, Kay’s Children’s shop in Listowel, Doran’s Pharmacy, Nolan’s Shop Lyreacrompane, Enright’s Bar Moyvane.
