New Blog Launch: Share Your Voice
The Museum is launching a dedicated blog section on its website, providing a platform for local poets, writers, and creatives to share their unique perspectives on Kerry’s literary landscape, culture, and storytelling traditions.
Contributors will have the opportunity to gain exposure, support cultural heritage, and promote their own work while being featured on one of Kerry’s most cherished cultural platforms.

Call for Visual Art Submissions: Women in Literature Exhibition
In an exciting development, Kerry Writers’ Museum is inviting visual artists to submit work for its upcoming Women in Literature exhibition.
This new permanent exhibition will celebrate the influence and contributions of female writers to Kerry’s literary heritage. Artists are encouraged to explore themes related to the lives and works of these remarkable women, offering fresh interpretations through various artistic mediums.

Public Survey: Shaping the Future
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance visitor experience, Kerry Writers’ Museum is conducting a short public survey to gather ideas and feedback from the community.
The survey aims to inform the future development of the Museum, ensuring that its facilities and public spaces continue to reflect the needs and interests of visitors. The initiative, led by Drake Hourigan Architects and supported by Kerry County Council under the Rural Regeneration Programme, seeks to create an enhanced experience while preserving the Museum’s charm and cultural significance.
