‘This Cheque is not for You!’
Last year the Crimmin Triplets, Nicola, Laura and Alison from Dundalk were the Judges for the Best Dressed Man Competition at Listowel Races and it was a huge success. This year the Judge for The East River / Emerald Properties Best Dressed Man Competition, at The Listowel Races on Thursday 13th September is Carol O’Reilly from Cobh, Co. Cork.
Carol is one of the leading actresses in the Hit TV Series Red Rock, which is currently being shown on BBC and TV3, with the new season being aired in September. Carol plays the part of Linda McNulty, who is proving very popular with viewers. An example of this is her reasons for classifying Chocolate as a Super Food are compelling, see video in East River’s facebook page.
“Sharp Dressed Men is what we’ll be looking for, suit and jackets, classic or casual, ties and bow ties are mandatory” asid Pat Lyons of East River, Mens, Ladies & Home Interiors, Listowel.
The Best Dressed Man competition has been permanently changed to the Thursday of the Races as well, giving us two days of back-to-back fashion.
East River / Emerald Properties have sponsored the competition to the tune of €1,000. The winner will receive €750, Runner up €150, and third placed €100.
