Her stunning design earned her a Samsung Galaxy Tablet, presented by Brendan Culloty of Hugh Culloty’s Home Entertainment & Music Shop, The Mall, Tralee. Reflecting on her win, Mary explained the meaning behind her design:
“Winning this competition means a lot to me, especially because of the theme of inclusion. I wanted my design to show that everyone, no matter who they are, has a place where they belong, especially at Christmas. It’s such a special feeling knowing that my card, which captures the idea of togetherness, will be shared with so many people.”
The two runners-up where, Layla Stack, a 3rd-year student from Coláiste na Ríochta, and Kaela Sheahan, a 1st-year student from Killarney Community College.
