A group from Ballydonoghue and Ballybunion are organising a vintage run from Kerry to Westmeath on Saturday 10th August in aid of the CHF and their hospitals in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly.
Roger Foley came up with the idea and he recruited Aaron Farrell, Gerard McNamara, Eugene O’Sullivan and their family and friends to help him. They expect to have about ten drivers and twenty bucket collectors on the day as well as people opting in and out as they go through the various towns. There are donation cards in most business premises around north Kerry and an online fundraising page which can be accessed on the following link; childrenshealth.enthuse.com/pf/eugene-o-sullivan
When they get to Moate on Saturday night there will be a fundraising dance in The Well Bar and on their return they will finish off the weekend with a fundraising dance in Tomaisin’s Bar in Lisselton on Sunday night with music provided by Neilly O’Connor.
We all know a family that has availed of the services of the Children’s Health Foundation and if you don’t then you are one of the lucky ones. The funds raised will help improve the chances for sick children and provide the best opportunity for them to enjoy both a happy and healthy life.
Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated.
