Knighthood, wizards potions, fairy trails and a huge array of crafts form just some of the magical journey to be experienced on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June in Kilflynn Village.
Saturday evening opens with a parade at 7pm consisting of street entertainers, the
wonderful Kilflynn fairies and many magical faces, knights and wizards. Entertainment to follow in the village afterwards.
Sunday hosts the main event from 11am to 5pm. The Fairy Trail allows visitors take part in creative workshops and play in the meadow, which is full of entertainers, characters, story tellers, music and surprises around every corner. The whole village becomes alive to
celebrate family life, dreams and memories.
This year celebrates the inaugural visit of the Wild Boar Warriors to the festival. They will re-enact ancient battle scenes and bring with them a host of animals including wolves and birds of prey along with a weapons display, archery and much more.
Picnic areas are available in the meadow and along the fairy trail. There will also be a local food and craft fair throughout the day catering for the older believer. To add to the magic, the Kilflynn Fairy Committee are urging all the boys and girls to dress up for the occasion, for what promises to be an amazing weekend!
