H2 Group, a Listowel based retail company, won the Best Convenience Store of the Year Award for its Fermoy, Co Cork store at the ShelfLife National C-Store Awards 2017. Ireland’s top retailers and brands gathered at Dublin’s Royal Marine Hotel on the night to attend the prestigious ceremony. H2 Group’s latest state of the art service station in Fermoy, Co. Cork opened in December 2016 employing over 40 people and had already scooped the Best New Forecourt of the Year in Irelands Forecourt Awards back in June.
H2 Group own and operate a network of Spar Service Stations and convenience stores in Ireland across 9 locations and currently employ over 220 people nationwide. The company own and operate two Spar outlets in Listowel in addition to its head office in Clieveragh.
Commenting on the award, Sean Heaphy, Managing Director, said: “We are delighted and honoured to have received this National award on behalf of our dedicated team in Fermoy and our head office team in Listowel. It was a large development project to take on and it has now given us the confidence to develop further sites of this scale and nature.”
