The Listowel Hospice would like to express their sincere thanks to Elaine Lyons who organised the Yellow Ribbon Remembrance Tree again last December and handed over the proceeds of €1,748 recently. A tremendous amount of work went on behind the scenes. The Hospice is so grateful to Elaine for her continued support.
Elaine would like to express her heartfelt thanks to the retailers who stocked the ribbons, to St. John’s for allowing the tree on their grounds and also stocking the ribbons, to Conor Moriarty for putting the lights on the tree and to John & Eleanor Cronin who kindly put a collection bucket on their stand at the Listowel Christmas market. All the generous support was so appreciated. Thank you to everyone that purchased a ribbon and supported this wonderful fundraiser. It is always a beautiful and emotional ceremony every December when loved ones who are sadly not with us any longer are remembered.
