Listowel Sisters Shine Bright at Community Games Finals, with both winning Gold. Listowel Community Games is beaming with pride as two local sisters, Chloe & Sophie O’Flaherty, achieved a rare and remarkable feat by both winning gold medals in their individual events at the National Community Games Finals held in Carlow on Saturday. This extraordinary accomplishment underscores not only their individual talents but also the strong bond and determination shared by these siblings.
In a stunning display of athleticism and dedication, Chloe clinched the gold medal in the U14 100m final, while Sophie triumphed in the U12 Long Jump. Their victories mark a historic moment for the community inspiring fellow athletes.

Listowel were very well represented in Carlow at the weekend with no less than ten athletes wearing the County jersey with pride. They were Isabella McEnery, Isabel Belova, Charlie Ann Duffy, Emily Wolska, Grace Hegarty, Mary Kate O’Connor, Dylan Kate Treacy & Aideen Duffy.
Listowel Community Games will be honouring all the participants and athletes that participated in all the various events on the Community Games calendar throughout the year, in an event later in the Autumn.
