Mary Culloty O’ Sullivan local Singer/ Songwriter was once again nominated for her Original Songs and Voice in the Red Carpet Awards in Europe. She won Two Awards last year with ‘Before You Leave Me’ (Best Jazz Original) and Best Voice. This year she won Best Voice for the second year in a row with her original song ‘Stargazing’.
Artists travelled from all over the world to attend the award show in Amsterdam last weekend. With over 2,000 entrants there were over 200 winners from USA, Canada, Australia, Asia, Europe, U.K. and Ireland.
Speaking after the award Mary said: “To win Best Voice two years in a row means the world to me! I would like to pay tribute to my husband Paul who travelled with me and is a huge support. Also my Musical Director/Producer Tony O’ Flaherty who brings my songs to life in his recording studio.”
Mary is setting up a brand new Adult Choir for everyone around North Kerry and there will be an open evening on Tuesday 5th September at 8pm in St Patrick’s Hall Upper William St, Listowel. People will be asked to register their interest, and hear details about classes, fees etc.
