Presentation Secondary School, Listowel is very proud of our students who were honoured at the Garda Youth Achievement Awards in the Rose Hotel, Tralee, recently. Congratulations to Yvonne Barrett, Fiona O’Brien and Eabha Keane, and to our past pupils Lisa McMahon and Margaret Carmody, who each received an award at a lovely ceremony.
The evening celebrated the many gifted and talented young people of Kerry who were nominated. Each of them, in their own way, has shown kindness, given service, made a difference to the lives of others through research and action, or used their talents to make their communities better places to live in. The citations read on behalf of our students were remarkable, and every one of them is a most deserving winner. We feel blessed to be able to recognise these young women and are proud to celebrate their success. Comhghairdeas to all!
