Robert Yamac and Moira O’Toole win the Style Stakes at Ladies Day

The brilliant sunshine brought out sensational style at Listowel Races Summer Festival on Sunday 4th of June. The overall winners were Robert Yamac from Shanagolden and Moira O’Toole from Kilkenny, who both received a cheque for €500 sponsored by Listowel Race Company. The first runner up in each category was Leon Ruxton from Cork and Maggie-Ann Fleming from Brosna, who both received a luxury overnight stay in the wonderful Montenotte Hotel in Cork.  

Overall male winner, Robert Yamac showed how to do style on a budget with a very on trend look from Zara and Asos; 1st runner up, Leon Ruxton bought his very dapper 3 piece suit from Morleys Boutique in Cork. Overall female winner Moira O’Toole, wore Irish designer Roisin Linnane and a dramatic disc headpiece she created herself; 1st runner up Maggie-Ann Fleming wore a beautiful fitted lemon from Rosie’s Closet and a headpiece by Caitriona King Designs. 

Style Stakes Sunday was judged by top international fashion designer, Colin Horgan, and attracted a very fashionable crowd from all over the country.

The Listowel Races Summer Meeting is the first of two meetings at the scenic Listowel Race Course, with the second 7 day Harvest Racing Festival meeting from Sunday 17th to Saturday 23th of September 2023
