On Friday last, the Staff and pupils of Sliabh a’ Mhadra N.S. joined with the local
community in a Mass celebrated by Fr. Brendan Walsh P.P. at the Cillin in Kilmore
to remember all those buried there but in particular, Alfred F Wheelhouse whose
body was washed ashore there following the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915
