NEWKD are holding a Fundraising Golf Classic at Maine Valley Golf Club in Killorglin on Saturday 19th August 2023.
NEWKD deliver actions based on the needs of the people in the community. It supports individuals and marginalized target groups so they can participate fully, engage with the process through life-long learning opportunities through the use of community development approaches!
NEWKD run a programme that supports people in recovery from addiction, it is the only one of its kind currently available in County Kerry. It helps people in recovery from addiction to regain a structure in their lives and to progress through Personal Development, Education and Training. It is a big commitment to keep a programme as vital as this running, especially with the increasing costs of living, which has also meant an increase in our overheads. The programme will be expanding in the coming months to cater for more individuals which will have a further impact on our running costs. This is why we are asking you, members of the public to please support our worthy cause in any way you can.
If you cannot join us on the day for Golf, we would really appreciate if you could sponsor a T-box or Green. There will also be a raffle on the day, so if you can donate any spot prizes this would be very welcomed by the Team.
All monies from this fundraiser will go towards supporting People in Recovery from Drug and Alcohol Addiction.
Tee off time is from 11.20am and the cost is €120 per team of 4. Booking is available on The BRS system or you can call the Killorglin Clubhouse at 066 9761979 to arrange a convenient booking time.
