Kingdom Trad Orchestra is a new initiative to get musicians from county Kerry and the surrounding areas to come together and perform as an orchestral ensemble. The orchestra will focus on arrangement within traditional Irish music along with new compositions, with the aim of bringing the orchestra to perform in a state of the art theatre at the end of the term. Each Saturday we will run a 2 hour orchestra class for both Under 12’s (10am -12pm) and a Youth Orchestra (1pm – 3pm).
Kingdom Trad Orchestra will commence its first term of 15 weeks on September 4th in Siamsa Tíre. If interested, send a 2 minute video or audio application to kingdomtradorchestra@gmail.com, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp on (087) 969 8063.
