The race is on … to one of the highlights of the season, the 3 day Listowel Races Summer Festival Meeting from Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

One of the highlights of the summer meeting is the fashion event and this year Listowel Races have ensured it will be a winner alright with generous €500 cash prizes for both the Best Dressed Man and Best Dressed Lady on ‘Style Stakes Sunday’ 4th of June. Judged by top international fashion designer, Colin Horgan, who has dressed such A-list celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Tolu Makay and Mabel, it promises to attract large crowds from all over the country. So start planning your outfit now! Judging will commence on course at 1.30pm, and the overall winners will be announced in the parade ring after the 5th race.
Racing highlights over the Summer festival include the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden of €25,000 on Saturday 3rd; the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden of €15,000 on Sunday 4th and the Join Racing TV Now Handicap Hurdle of € 22,000 on Monday 5th of June.
