Cllr. Mike Kennelly is delighted to welcome the road works that Kerry County Council have completed, which Mike has being working towards in the last two years with the Community of Killocrim, Ennismore and Coolagown.
Over 2 kilometers of road has been resurfaced in this area over the last week due to a lot of hard work by the community group that Cllr. Kennelly took as a deputation to Kerry County Council to discuss the serious health & safety issues of the road. This is identical to the Dale/Rathscannell Road which is also gone to the design stage at Kerry County Council.
“I have been approached by many other community road groups, which I have helped prepare deputations to Kerry County Council and I am continuing to lobby hard to ensure these roads will be included on the Kerry County Council’s Roads Program 2019/21.”
“As with the Killocrim/Ennismore Road and also Lisselton Cross, which was not in the current roads programme, we need to ensure that all our roads in North Kerry are up to the appropriate standard and I will work tirelessly to deliver on this.”
