Estuary Rollers Tractor Run Raises Over 12k

Estuary Rollers committee recently presented a cheque to Milford Hospice and The Friends of St Ita’s Newcastle West from their Christmas Tractor Run. This event took North Kerry and West Limerick by storm in early December. There was a massive turn out and we would like to express a huge thank you to all those who came to support two wonderful charities.

The tractors decorated with lights and decorations passed through Listowel, Moyvane, Tarbert and Glin before concluding in the Knockdown Arms. It was fabulous to see the streets lined with spectators as the run rolled through each village led by Santa Clause and Mrs Clause on the sleigh.

We would like to say thanks to all the stewards who gave so willingly of their time to ensure the smooth running of the event. A special word of thanks to Listowel Livestock Mart, D&N Catering, Knockdown Vintage Club, Killeaney AFC and The Knockdown Arms. A huge amount of spot prizes were donated to our raffle and we would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who gave so generously to us. This year due to the Covid restrictions we decided to set up a GoFundMe account. Thanks to each and everyone of you who donated online.

We raised an amazing €12,200 for Milford Hospice and The Friends of St Ita’s from the event. It was a tremendous occasion and far surpassed all expectations. Thanks again to all those who supported Estuary Rollers in making our Christmas Tractor Run a phenomenal success. Roll on December 2022!
