BALLYBUNION BRANCH – AUGUST 15th from 10am – 3pm
IN ASSOCITION WITH PATTERN DAY

Listowel Credit Union is holding an open day in its Ballybunion Branch on August 15th – the towns traditional Pattern Day. As with the historical traditions of Pattern Day, we want to encourage people into the town, promote local businesses and celebrate the successful summer season. The ethos of Listowel Credit Union is ‘Supporting Your Community’ and being involved in local activities like Pattern Day strengthens that bond.

Speaking about the open day, Ashley FitzGerald, Marketing Manager, Listowel Credit Union said:
“As part of our commitment to the local area, we want to ensure that all generations are welcomed and aware of the vast services on offer from their local Credit Union. The Credit Union office has been in Ballybunion since 1970 and is steeped in local history, continuing that personal relationship with the community is key.

As part of the open day we will have give-aways, a member draw, refreshments and goodies for younger members. To help create a festive atmosphere our friends from the Pattern Day Association will provide live music and dancing from 12 noon. Our staff will be on-hand to answer any service queries on loans, membership, savings or help provide budgeting tips.“

Pattern Day is, of course, a religious celebration and Mass will take place on Thursday, August 15, at 11am. Later in the day, celebrations will take place at 6pm with crossroads dancing, stalls and much more at Michael Hourigan’s garage at the East End.
Listowel Credit Union welcomes all members to chat about their great range of loans for cars, home improvements, holidays or college. Our Loans Officers will discuss all options and will work with members to structure repayments in a way that suits their individual circumstances.
