A Listowel Family are hoping that their one-year old pug ‘Scamp’ will become the winner of this year’s ‘Nose of Tralee’ after their lovable pup was named recently as the Kerry finalist.

Speaking to The Advertiser Chas Duffy said: “when we found out about the Nose of Tralee our 9 year old twin girls, Charlee-Ann and Aideen, wanted to enter our Pug, Scamp. Scamp was lucky to get into the semi finals after a round of voting. Then after a decision by independent judges scamp was crowned the Kerry Nose. We are delighted to represent Kerry in this competition. It is again down to voting and you can vote every day on petsittersireland.com and click on Scamp.

Voting is open until 25th Aug and you can vote every 24 hours so we really do hope the people of Kerry get behind scamp on his quest to win the Nose of Tralee. The competition has been a welcome distraction in these strange times and after the passing of our beloved dog Lubo who passed away on May 1st after over 15 years with us.
