Competitions now open for submissions at Listowel Writers’ Week, for the:
· Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year Award – prize fund €17,000
· Pigott Poetry Prize Award – prize fund €14,000
· Nilsson Local Heritage Writing Award – prize fund €1,400
· Bryan MacMahon Short Story Award – prize fund €1,000
· Poetry Collection Award – prize fund €2,500
· Duais Foras na Gaeilge Award – prize fund €1,000
· Writing in Prisons Award – prize fund €2,700
· Creative Writing for Adults with Special Needs Award – prize fund €1,000
The extended closing date for submissions to the Kerry Group Irish Novel of the Year and Pigott Poetry Prize Award 2021 competitions is 14th February, for this year only. The closing date for all other competitions is 28th February 2021.
