Causeway, Kerry Feile Winners were in Div 5 & based in Kilmacow, Kilkenny for the weekend. Losing their 1st game to Rathgarogue-Cushinstown, Wexford they went on to win their next 2 games against Kiltegan & Kilmacow which saw them into the Cup1/4 final on Saturday evening. Leading at half-time by 1pt but unfortunately Brideoga, Mayo put in a strong 2nd half to win by 2pts. Brideoga went on to win out the final against Rathgarogue-Cushinstown. The girls can take heart from a great team performance both on and off the pitch. They are a young team and with only 4 of the girls overage for next year, they know that their turn will come. Thanks to Kilmacow Camogie Club for being fantastic host, the girls, mentors & parents had a brilliant weekend. Thanks to Bernard our bus driver for getting us there & back safely. Thanks to everyone who helped make this weekend possible for this amazing bunch of girls.
